CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT

You will spend at least half of each day out on your bike. Conditions vary according to the
activity undertaken, but you will get wet and dirty on day two only. You should therefore plan to bring
sufficient appropriate cycling clothing to withstand mountain biking up to three hours and over, on
the North Yorkshire moors. Additionally, you will be expected as a potential coach to carry the
appropriate safety and repair equipment for leading a small group.

REFERENCE MATERIAL

There is no requirement to read lots of books and publications prior to the course. However, the
useful publications are attached to the joining instructions on application and make good reading. Notebook and writing material
should be bought for the classroom subjects.
